“It was nearly the end of March and Geoff Brown was checking jumps off his list of Whistler, BC backcountry classics. Having only ever hit the hip option of the gap we rolled up early and broke trail to the spot. Geoff, Duncan Mainland and myself then proceeded to spend eight hours building the set up. A storm was predicted for the next day so we left at 6 am and sledded in the dark for an hour or so while the rising sun slowly illuminated the alpine. We only had a small window before the light went completely flat, but Geoff managed to hit it 5 or 6 times. This cab five is his first hit.”
